SEFF 2011 Field overview

Once again, Mac Hodges has generously offered his outstanding flying field as the host site for SEFF.  For those that have never been to this field, Mac's field will be a real treat for you.  It is one of the nicest flying facilities you could ever dream.  Mac's field is also home base for Hodges Hobbies in Andersonville, GA.  The field is huge.  The runway is over 1,700 feet long and approximately 200-300 feet deep.  The runway is a very smooth, short cut Bermuda grass.  Just behind the flight line, you will find Mac's full service hobby shop.  Right next to the hobby shop is an aircraft hangar that serves as a spectator shade spot and event HQ area.  We will utilize some of the hangar for  pilot check in, raffle, vendor area and BBQ serving lines.
