WE plan on eating good this year.

The idea of a "Club" is to join together on common grounds and have fun!

 Get out to the field and join the fun!

  

April 19, Saturday: WORK Day/ Spring Fun Fly were gonna clean up in the morning and Fly and cookout in the afternoon, need to get ready for a Great new flying season. Bring a weed eater or what have you and join in We are going to get FLYING!!!

Have a Soar Star, Wingo slow flyer event, Pylon races, limbos, balloon bust spot landing contest just for fun come and join the fun. Expect Tommy and Charles to be barbequing something on the new grill. Starts about noon. mmmmm grilled celery sticks!

 

May 1-4,Thurs-Sun:  SEFF Southeast Electric Flight Festival sponsored by the club will be held at Hodges field in Americus. This is the WORLD'S LARGEST all electric event. If you haven't been you need to go.

 

June 7, Saturday: Family FUN FLY COOKOUT Bring anything to fly,   Starts about 11 am, Food 3 pmish. Charles will be cooking a famous secret handed down family special one not to miss.

 

July 26, Saturday: First Annual CUB DAY sponsored by Tom Huckaby, a sanctioned event. Bring anything, any color, any type as long as it is a CUB!

THIS IS OPEN TO ANYONE FROM ANYWHERE any club. Food and door prizes, a landing fee will be posted, awards will be made for smallest Cub, Largest Cub, best scale. More details will be posted later.( today is 2/1/08 ) food will be available for purchase.

 

August 30, Saturday: Fayette Flyers Cub meeting at the field and Fly day. We are gonna meet Saturday instead of Thursday night and spend the day flying before and after the meeting. Expect some sort of food and drink. Meeting is to start at NOON. Flying till you can' see anymore. New member applications welcome.

 

September 27th, Saturday: Family cook out and Egg Drop and spot landing fun fly contest. Strap a paper cup to your airplane and were are going to try and drop it on Tom... oh no maybe a bigger target. Cookout to start about noon, flying all day. Trophy for closest hit to target, best crash due to watching the egg fall and not the plane.

 

December 7th, Sunday: Annual Club Christmas Party Held at the C.A.F. Hangar in Peachtree City like last year.

GET THERE ABOUT 4:30-5pm if you want a tour of the hangar food starts >> 6pm sharp.

As last year, the party will be at the Commemorative Air Force at Falcon Field in Peachtree City, December 7th.

The cost will be $10/Adult and $5/Child. Expect Turkey and Ham and all the fixens.

As in prior years a steal a gift will occur, bring a gift for each flyer or non flyer that wants to join in the fun, keep it in the $20. area.
