Flannery Farms, LLC Field Rules, January 1, 2005

The Interstate site NOT the NEW Fayette Flyers Home field. {new field rules in work}

We are guests of Flannery Farms, LLC and must act as guests at all times. Flannery Farms is a private Air Park Development with an existing 3,000 foot runway. Prior to departing for the field site it has been requested that we notify Jason or Jolie Vigh that we will be using the field, and to gain access through the security gate.  Jolie has an office at the on site hangar.

The right of way will be given to all full scale aircraft. Should a full scale aircraft make a low pass, immediately land your aircraft and clear the runway proper.

Under no circumstances will any alcoholic beverage be allowed anywhere on the site by any member, guest, or spectator during flying.

There will be no driving on the grass strip. Members must park their vehicles along the gravel road opposite the frequency board near the stand of trees to the left or right of the future lake. A large cart is padlocked to the frequency board which can be used by members to transport their equipment from the parking to the pits area. Please leave this cart secured upon your departure. Avoid damaging any newly planted trees or shrubs.

The field is of Bermuda grass so the owner is concerned about the potential for grass fire during the winter months. To this end a fire extinguisher is attached to the frequency board. If for any reason a grass fire starts, do your best to extinguish it with minimal damage.

The owner has requested that we not leave any trash behind at the site. To this end please ensure you remove any trash or debris to include broken propellers, used rubber bands, used glow plugs, paper towels, and any other items we might normally have left behind on occasion.

The A.M.A. Safety Code must be adhered to in all instances. All Club members are in effect “Safety Officers” and will assist in eliminating unsafe conditions.

Flying hours are unrestricted.

All engines .09 cubic inch displacement and larger will be effectively muffled.

Visiting flyers must be accompanied by a Club member who shall be responsible for their conduct, must show a current A.M.A. card, and must comply with these field rules.

All transmitters must have the proper channel number flag attached to the antenna. Please insure you do a proper range check and verify your frequency prior to flying.

Absolutely no flying will be permitted over the pits and to the interstate side of the runway. All turns from take off should be done away from the interstate and pits. Because we are parking across the runway from the pilot stations, care should be taken to not perform maneuvers directly over any parked cars. Also insure that prior to crossing the runway you announce your presence to anyone actively flying or preparing to fly.
