Fayette Flyers Meeting Minutes
April 2005 Meeting

The meeting was called to order at 7:36PM.
There were 10 members present.

Officer Reports :

Secretary - We have had some late renewals and our official count is
58 registered memberships.
Treasurer - SEFF has cleared [Added to the club dues] in club a  profit.

Vice Pres - Nothing to report.

President - Nothing to report.

New Business : The field has been mowed.
The May meeting we will plan for a club cookout.

Old Business : None.

SEFF Report : The event went well. A few things we could have done better. Other
than things we could not control, it was the best SEFF ever. No
negative feedback about the event. Approximately 20 club members
volunteered to help. It looks as if the monthly meetings paid off.
Other than a few small outstanding expenses, everything has been paid
for. One of the biggest problems has been the perception that SEFF is
a flyers event, not a buyers event. Need to do better promoting the
vendor aspect of the event.
There will be a SEFF wrap up meeting on the 5th of May at Jeff Meyer's
house.
The event totals worked out to 291 paid pilots, 269 signed in.
Future additions might include an on site break room for the volunteers.
The Wingo pylon needs to be done front and center.
The pagers need to be upgraded with a better vibrator. [in work]

Broken Prop award :
Matt Klos augered in his Telemaster, David Keller let a student put his
trainer into a tree, but the winner was Dave McConnel who smoked 2
Pro Jeti's at the SEFF event.

The meeting adjourned at 8:12PM
