We have added "The "Best

J-3 CUB kit to its winner.
MAXX Products is sending us a 68" J-3 CUB ARF
as another prize.
We also have plaques for:
The Most Unusual CUB, The Best(?) Crash and The Most Realistic Flight.
I hope to have two other prizes so we can award one to all of the plaque winners.
The awards will be determined by a vote of the registered pilots.
Remember, Any size (AMA legal) , any color, and any power( electric, nitro, gas, or co2) but,
IT MUST BE A CUB. Randy has put a great announcement on our webpage about the CUB EVENT ( in living CUB YELLOW) and you may want to look at...... www.geocities.com/cubmanky..... for additional Cub information. ...................

Meeting Minutes
by Ernie SchlumbergerPresident, Tommy Vinci, brought the meeting to order at 7:35 p.m. with 39 members, 2 guests and 2 membership applicants.
Officer Reports:
Vice President, Tom Huckaby, and Secretary, Ernie Schlumberger, did not have anything to report. (Our club has 176 Total members including 2 new members at this meeting.)
Treasurer, Dave Zeigler went over the club’s finances for the month of May. The Club had $1407.00 in receipts from membership dues and SEFF Registration income. The club had total expenses of $706.32 that included Porta Potty, Field maintenance and structures, miscellaneous and SEFF expenses. This left the Club with a total of all accounts in the amount of $10,149.73.
President, Tommy Vinci, mentioned again that Spectators need to stay back from the Flight line and DO NOT let children go up to the fence.
The Club Sponsored, King Peach Electric Sailplane Championship AMA Sanctioned Event, went well with the exception of the weather. All competitors had a good time and many of the trophies went to our club members.
SEFF Event Coordinator, Jeff Myers, gave an update. There are 78 pre-registered pilots. He then asked for all the help we could get in setup and running the event. The three-day event will occur on June 21, 22 and 23.
Upcoming Events:
Dave Zeigler will be hosting the "Kid’s Summer" Free Flight Contest on Saturday, June 29th from 3p.m. – Dark which will include a cookout. Dave will hold workshops to help build and design the balsa gliders and rubber band powered airplanes for the event at his house on the 3 Tuesdays prior to the event.
Tom Huckaby will host an "
All Cub" Event on Saturday, July 13th. Any Size, Color or Power as long as it is a Cub. (Check out the club website for links to each event that describes them in detail.)New Business:
Member, Phil Myers, brought up rolling the runway to get the wrinkles out. It has already been approved and will be done when we get some rain to soften the ground. Tommy said we will try to do it before SEFF, if possible, and also the field will be cut before the event.
Phil then brought up the idea of looking into the Club eventually buying a field and creating different levels of membership like owner/member, associate member and etc. Tommy Vinci asked Phil if he would like to look into whether or not there is enough interest to proceed with this idea.
New Members
:This month our club had two new members join our ranks. Please welcome John Fitzgibbon and Drew Marvin to the Fayette Flyers.
Broken Prop Award:
This month there was no shortage of nominees for this award. However, Josh Thorner and Mike Morris won a Team Kamikaze Award for a trainer plane that flew off to Tyrone while watching and trying to fly another plane thought to be Mike’s.
SEFF WAS A MAJOR SUCCESS WAITING ON THE ARTICLE TO PRINT< JEFF IS STILL SLEEPING 2 DAYS AFTER!
